ABOUT
DiLernia Marine Services, (DMS), has forty-five years of experience in the maritime activities and operations of New York Harbor and the Mid-Atlantic Bight.
During his career Captain Tony DiLernia has operated his own charter businesses, developed educational programs for mariners and fishermen, led professional organizations for both educators and mariners and served on a variety of boards, councils and commissions providing expert advice to governmental agencies and environmental organizations.
Captain DiLernia recently retired as the Director of Maritime Technology of Kingsborough Community College a unit of The City University of New York, and he currently represents New York State on NOAA's Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council and serves as New York States' Energy Research Development Authority's liaison to the recreational fishing community.
